Predator (2010)

With Rodriquez not directing this reboot as originally reported, I'm not so sure anymore that this movie will be like the DONKEHH original.

AVP2 suffered from thin, teenager-slasher plotting and lacked adequate lighting to see the great predator designs and action. The franchise is back to square one without a good director, as of now, to steer it back from the cash over art Reboot-itis afflicting studio executives.

"Predators" promises to be "a bold new chapter in the Predator universe," stated a press release from Fox. It was also said that the production would take place in Rodriguez's facility in Austin, TX. It also said that, while he is shepherding the project, he won't write or direct the film, as a writer and director are currently being sought out."
