For every site quiz question that you get right, you get a point. If you get 1st place in a contest, you win 5 points. 2nd place in a contest gets you 3 points. When you get 20 points, then you get

a) a star
b) a little prize that will go on your profile stuff.

When you get 20 points, you have the little ribbon; but you re-start at 0. Then you can go back up again and win another ribbon, yay!

Ive been getting a nauseating amount of PMs that the smileys are not "awesome" enough. but, since katanga has reached the limit, and BSC has also almost, There will be a contest.
